Adolescence and young adulthood are powerful times of personal growth and self-discovery. While these stages are full of potential, they can also bring challenges and uncertainty. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate this journey by providing a safe, supportive, and affirming environment.
I earned my master’s degree in counseling from the University of Minnesota and my bachelor’s degree in Child Development, along with a certificate in Gender and Women’s Studies, from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My background includes experience in both private practice and school settings, which gives me a unique perspective when supporting youth and young adults.
I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy, tailored to the needs of each client. My experience includes supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and school-related concerns, among many other areas.
Clients can come to me without fear of judgment for their thoughts, feelings, or beliefs—I welcome and value all identities and experiences. In addition to traditional therapeutic approaches, I often incorporate my black lab, Griz, into sessions. His calm presence offers comfort, companionship, and a reminder of the healing power of the human-animal bond.
Together, we’ll work to create a treatment plan that supports your goals and helps you move toward meaningful, lasting change.
