Grow Your Private Practice by
Partnering With Westside Behavioral Care

Westside Behavioral Care is a locally owned Colorado mental health company that partners with licensed therapists and mental health providers who want the independence of private practice with support behind the scenes. Through a provider service agreement, Westside helps with referral generation, client matching, scheduling, insurance billing, and administrative tasks, so providers can spend more time focused on client care and clinical work.

Private Practice Support Without Giving Up Your Independence

At Westside Behavioral Care, providers remain independent and in control of their schedules, caseloads, clinical style, practice systems, and availability. Westside’s role is to support the parts of private practice that can become time-consuming, including referral generation, client matching, scheduling, insurance billing, and administrative coordination.

Since 1998, Westside has helped providers serve clients across Colorado while maintaining the flexibility and independence that make private practice appealing. Learn more

You Stay In Control

Partnering with Westside does not mean giving up control of your private practice. Providers decide when they are available, how many clients they want to see, which populations they serve, which systems they use, and when they want to adjust their caseload.

• Want support with insurance billing and reimbursement processes
• Value flexibility, autonomy, and control over your schedule

Yes, Westside empowers providers to run their practices as they see fit. Regulatory and insurer requirements are passed along from time to time, but we otherwise focus on referral generation and admin tasks on your behalf.

Our proprietary Avalon software matches clients with providers based on factors such as availability, specialty, insurance coverage, client age, and location. Clients may schedule directly on our website, or opt for one-on-one support with a member of our scheduling team. Referral volume is not guaranteed and depends on client demand, insurance participation, provider availability, specialties, location, and other factors.

Westside has contracts with nearly all insurers in the Greater Denver Area. A full insurer list can be found on our insurance page.

Westside's credentialing and billing specialists handle the great majority of insurer requirements on your behalf. Some insurers require provider involvement from time to time, but we do our best to minimize those interactions.

Not at all! Providers have full control over when and how much they decide to work. Most providers work during business hours, others prefer to offer evening sessions, and some make themselves available over the weekend.

Westside is currently covering the costs associated with joining open insurance panels in Colorado.

Our marketing efforts are geared towards clients with insurance coverage, but we certainly generate self-paying clients from time to time. These referrals are matched and distributed to our therapist network without charge. Providers can set their self-pay rates and even adjust them on a sliding scale if that’s of interest to them.

No. Westside works with licensed providers through a service agreement. Providers operate their own independent private practices; Westside provides referral, scheduling, billing, and administrative support.

Yes, providers maintain their independent practices and may continue serving clients outside of Westside, subject to the service agreement and insurance requirements. We understand that some therapists find comfort and stability by diversifying through memberships with multiple national companies.
