Do you have multiple locations?
Yes, our therapists have offices across the Denver metropolitan area, including Aurora, Arvada, Centennial, Englewood, Golden, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood and Littleton. Click on the Therapists page for a map and list of therapists and their addresses.
Can I get an appointment right away?
Most often the answer is yes. One advantage of a large group is access to multiple schedules. Many of our clinicians set aside an hour each day for crisis or urgent appointments. If you call us during business hours (7:30am-6:00pm), we can usually schedule an appointment within two days, and we can usually arrange an appointment the same day.
When I call will I speak to a live person or get voice mail?
If you call Monday-Friday during business hours (7:30am-6:00pm), you will speak to our friendly receptionist who has all of our clinician information, including their availability, specializations, schedules, insurance credentialing. When you call we can provide you with an appointment on the spot. With WBC there’s no voice mail, no phone tag, no hassle!
Are your therapists licensed?
Yes, all of our therapists are licensed and have undergone extensive background checks to verify appropriate standards such as education, licensure, ethics, experience and specialization. Our therapists hold various degrees and licenses. We have mental health counselors, psychologists, licensed therapists and counselors, licensed clinical social workers and certified addiction counselors. All are trained to improve the mental health of individuals, couples and families.
Do you see children?
Yes, many of our therapists have special training in the treatment of mental health issues experienced by children and their families. Children are subject to various conditions relevant to their age group and we choose therapists with experience and skill treating issues such as eating problems, anxiety, tantrums, depression, fears/phobias, noncompliance with parental requests, ADD/ADHD, conduct disorder, grief and loss and abuse.
How long have you been in business in Colorado?
Westside Behavioral Care opened in the summer of 1997 with a mission to provide accessible, affordable mental health care to people of all ages across the Denver metropolitan area. Our practice consists of a group of highly trained practitioners who provide the best possible clinical services utilizing both the latest and most time-tested techniques.
Will you call to remind me before my first appointment?
Yes, we call all patients 24 hours in advance of their first appointment.
