Westside Behavioral Care offers access to a large network of licensed mental health providers in Colorado serving the Denver metro area. Our network includes Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Psychologists (PsyD/PhD), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who offer medication management.

Many of our providers have advanced training in evidence-based therapies for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and child and adolescent mental health. We prioritize personalized care by matching each patient with a provider based on their clinical needs, insurance plan, preferred visit type (in-person or virtual), and availability. Whether you're seeking individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, or psychiatric services, our diverse team ensures that you receive care from a provider who best fits your situation and goals.

In most cases, no referral is required to begin therapy with Westside Behavioral Care. Nearly all patients with Aetna, Anthem/BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Medicare, and Optum/United can schedule directly with one of our in-network therapists without needing a referral or prior authorization.

The cost of therapy depends on your specific insurance plan and coverage. Many clients pay only a small copay per session, while others may have their therapy fully covered with no out-of-pocket cost. Clients with high deductible plans may need to meet their deductible before their insurance begins to pay for their therapy sessions. Please reach out to your insurance to verify your specific benefits.

A copay (short for copayment) is a fixed amount you pay per visit for a covered health care service, such as a therapy session. Copays are a flat fee, usually ranging from $5–$50 depending on your plan. The copay amount is set by your insurance company and can vary depending on your plan and the type of visit (in-person vs online).

A deductible is the amount you pay out of pocket for covered health care services before your insurance plan begins to share the cost. Once you meet your deductible, your insurance typically starts paying a portion of your care, while you continue to pay a copay or coinsurance percentage, until you meet your maximum-out-of-pocket for the year.

Coinsurance refers to the percentage of the cost of a covered health care service that you pay after meeting your deductible. Unlike a copay, which is a fixed dollar amount, coinsurance is a shared cost between you and your insurance company and is likely to vary by provider, visit type, and service.

Yes, some Westside Behavioral Care providers are multilingual and offer care in American Sign Language (ASL), French, German, Hebrew, Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish. These providers are in high demand, so don't hesitate to schedule an appointment if an appointment works with your schedule.
