Hello, my name is Jordyn Schneider. I look forward to being able to work with you in a collaborative way. I want to hear you out and challenge you in healthy ways to be the best version of you that you want to be.
I specialize in family of origin and family dynamics, healthy sexuality, sexual trauma, substance abuse, interpersonal relationships, guilt and shame, self-validation, life transitions, anxiety, depression, PTSD, crisis interventions, and emotion regulation. I utilize various therapeutic perspectives and modalities, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, as well as being Trauma-Informed and Solution Focused. I believe the use of different modalities leads to client success and allows therapist and client collaboration.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2015. In 2018 I completed a Master of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology. I have work experience working with various justice involved populations, facilitating group and individual sessions. I earned my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in March 2022 and earned my Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential in 2024.
