Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR Therapists in the Greater Denver Area and Across Colorado – Accepting New Clients

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy technique that helps people process trauma and reduce distress from past events. Westside Behavioral Care has multiple therapists trained in EMDR, offering a specialized approach to healing.

Read more about EMDR therapy

EMDR is often used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, grief, and adverse life experiences. Modeled after the brain’s natural REM sleep processing, EMDR helps unlock “stuck” emotional memories so you can respond to them with greater calm and clarity. Our therapists offer EMDR both as a primary treatment and in combination with other methods depending on your needs.

Appointments are available in person across the Greater Denver Area or through secure online sessions when clinically appropriate. All therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many are also credentialed with other insurance plans. You can browse available therapists by specialty, insurance, location, and age to find the right fit for your needs. You can also call us at (303) 986-4197 or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance scheduling your first session.
