Stephanie Roberts - CAC III / LPC
Stephanie Roberts is Masters Level Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Boulder Colorado.
With over 30 years experience, she has served in various positions within the mental health system. Stephanie has operated as County Director for a Community Mental Health Center, managed various Substance Abuse Rehab Facilities and Mental Health Agencies, along with acting as clinical supervisor- training of other therapists.
She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Anxiety, Depression, Severe and Persistent Mental Health Issues and Addictions. Stephanie is also working as an emergency room mental health evaluator, a position which allows her to utilize excellent clinical skills within an acute crisis setting.
In addition to being a prominent therapist, Stephanie has assisted with the design and development of adolescent programs assisting young woman and mental health issues. She trained with United States Department of Justice working to enhance services for juvenile female offenders. She served as an acting supervisor -overseeing mental health and life skills programs both in Denver, Colorado and San Francisco, California.
Stephanie is an interactive, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapist. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
