Jaime considers it a privilege to walk alongside others as they work towards their goals.
While this is about you and your therapeutic journey, I firmly believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. For this reason, I offer a little about me so that you can determine if we would be a good fit for working together. I have had the pleasure of helping people in transition for several years. I possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana University and a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. As a Marriage and Family Therapist I support adolescents, individuals, couples, and families as they work through interpersonal conflicts.
My intention working with each client is that they are heard, validated, and offered a wider range of skills and tools to navigate their different environments. My therapeutic style is empathetic, supportive, and engaged. I integrate experiential frameworks backed by research to inform my approach, and value open communication as meaning is being shaped between an individual or a system. My approach is non-pathologizing, meaning I treat individuals and systems based on presenting therapeutic goals. In honoring this I often pull from methods such as IFS, CBT, Solution Focused, EFT, Gottman, and Bowenian interventions. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside others as they work towards their goals. Please come as you are, there are no expectations.
