Kristin Rainey

I specialize in helping clients navigate the deep and complex terrain of grief, trauma, and anxiety. My practice is built on the belief that healing happens in a safe, nurturing, and collaborative space. I hold deep empathy for the courage it takes to confront painful experiences, and I understand that the path to healing is rarely straight or simple.

My therapeutic style is compassionate and warm, balanced by a collaborative and strategic approach to healing. I have ten years of experience across community mental health and private practice. I utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, all tailored to your unique needs. For clients seeking deeper resolution from trauma, I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
