Kayla Kerekes

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping adults create the life that they desire through developing an understanding of themselves and their world. My practice focuses on helping individuals who have experienced trauma understand how it has affected their attachments, behaviors, and view of themselves and others. Trauma impacts all areas of a person’s life and can leave one feeling isolated and alone. I believe in developing trust and understanding with clients so that we can work collaboratively to help them reach their goals.

I am passionate about helping individuals regain control of their life and develop adaptive meaning from their experiences. I utilize EMDR therapy to assist clients in reprocessing those events that have overwhelmed them and left them feeling lost. True healing comes from connecting with others and allowing all of our parts to be seen, heard and understood.
