Thank you for taking the time to visit my bio.
I grew up in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada and landed in Colorado. I love all things Colorado, especially the winters compared to Winnipeg! I moved here to go to College at UNC and have been in private practice for almost 14 years. I am a licensed professional counselor and I have a Master’s degree in Deaf Education. In addition to hearing clients, I see clients who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I am able to provide counseling sessions in American Sign Language.
My emphasis is on young adults up to older adults who are struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, social emotional issues and PTSD. My practice is focused on using a variety of tools to best support my clients including: CBT, trauma informed therapy, solution focused therapy and mindfulness. We will work collaboratively to establish goals in a warm safe environment.
I provide counseling sessions in person, through video and on the phone. I look forward to connecting with you.
