I guide clients in discovering and identifying the root causes of some of their worries and distress. When we work on addressing the source of the current and past issues, we are able to make positive changes in our lives and develop strategies together. My approach is to adapt to your unique needs. We don’t always have control of how we got where we are, but we can work together to take control of our lives. My goal is to help you discover your most true and wise self.
In my practice, I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you heal from trauma. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help with symptoms of anxiety. I enjoy working with individuals who want to be more present, build more mental bandwidth, and spend less time worrying.
Prior to working in the psychotherapy field, I have held various positions in the medical field as a Medical Social Worker, specifically working with patients in hospice, renal, and oncology care. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2017 with my Masters in Social Work and obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of North Florida.
