Sarah Guiles

My name is Sarah Guiles, LPC. I have been providing therapeutic services for the past 12 years in the Denver-metro area and the East Coast. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a master’s in clinical psychology in 2010 and have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2014. I am certified in EMDR, and currently have a private practice in Cherry Creek.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with adolescents and adults who are motivated to heal trauma wounds and address both mental health and chemical dependency issues. I have extensive experience helping clients manage and overcome depression; anxiety; bipolar; anger; trauma; grief and loss; relationship and family issues.

Other relevant work experiences include providing therapy to clients in residential and day treatment settings; emergency and inpatient settings; and traditional outpatient settings.

My treatment philosophy is to provide care in a “trauma-informed” manner by offering skills and strategies to assist you in better understanding, coping with, and processing emotions and memories tied to traumatic experiences. Feedback from the client throughout the therapeutic process is genuinely encouraged to make sure that the client’s needs are being met.
