Hello, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC). I have worked in this helping profession for over 25 years, working with adults managing life’s challenges, chronic health issues, grief and loss, depression and addictions (their own and/or loved ones).
I specialize in working with adults (18-80) with a history or trauma who have lost hope to move forward, are overwhelmed by a major life event or trauma (such as relationship/marital struggles or new health diagnosis, ie. HIV) or feeling stuck and stagnant in patterns, habits, relationships, and/or sexuality.
I use several modalities, such as Mindfulness, Art Therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems), Attachment Theory, Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
I have significant experience working with LGBTQIA individuals, particularly men with a current or past history of meth use. I provide sex-positive, non-judgemental support to help individuals arrive at a point in their sexual identity and lifestyle that works best for them in the long term.
You are the ultimate expert on your life’s direction. The answers are within you. I am here to provide safe and non-judgemental support, to celebrate you as you find your authentic way towards your highest goals. Come full circle to feel whole again or for the first time.
