My name is Dr. Lynne McRae, and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, Certified Community Herbalist, Reiki Master, and Yoga Nidra Teacher.

Do you feel overwhelmed by the challenges of life? Stressed out, burned out, coming out? I work well with people who experience anxiety, which can present itself as stress and burnout, using substances, food, or social media to cope, hating your body, feeling in emotional or physical pain, unhappy relationships, grief and loss, or many other types of disconnections. My hope is to help my clients move mindfully through life transitions by decreasing stress and increasing coping/relaxation skills.

I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Labor and Industrial Relations. I specialized in the area of Human Resources facilitating employee development, recruiting, training, organizational research and change management for large corporations in the Chicago area. Finding my “true calling,” I then returned to school and obtained my Master of Arts and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. My diverse experiences include focused efforts within community crisis centers, law enforcement/outreach settings, scholastic environments, wilderness settings, inpatient psychiatric/drug and alcohol/eating disorder rehabilitation centers, integrated medical healthcare clinics, and private practice. Additionally, I have served in the area of nonprofit administration in roles emphasizing clinical supervision, program development, marketing, community outreach, and community/state advocacy efforts.
