Jennifer Weise - LPC

I help clients facing a variety of life stressors and mental health issues to find clarity in the midst of challenge. I work to meet your needs in a way that fits just right for you and brings insight to your situation. My approach is gently paced and non-judgmental. Beginning therapy can feel scary, but your experience can be safe, smooth, and productive. I have been a therapist for twenty years, and currently work with individual clients and couples across the lifespan. 

In my practice, helping clients reach their personal goals can include finding a way through mental health challenges, and may also involve assisting those who are looking for help with work or relationship stressors, life-challenging illness, caregiving, and grief, as well as parenting support. Some clients have also enjoyed focus in areas of spiritual exploration, personal growth, giftedness, and through a lens of intergenerational trauma.

Couples come to me for help in various stages of their relationship.  Wherever you find yourself struggling, I bring perspective and a way forward that respects you both as individuals and as a couple. Drawing on years of experience, I work to help you uncover and overcome obstacles, to strengthen your relationship and increase satisfaction, and to gain the skills to better communicate, support, honor, and enjoy each other.

 I bring warmth, compassionate curiosity, and humor to our sessions, and an integrated, client-centered approach. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapist, and am also trained to offer EMDR therapy in-person and online.  I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and hold a Master’s Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University.
