Diana Calvo - LPC, MA

I work with adults (25 years and older) who are motivated to use the difficulties they are facing as a catalyst for growth and change. I believe that personal evolution is possible at any age, and that there is something to learn in whatever challenge life is presenting you with. 

There is very little cultural guidance for navigating the stages, phases, and challenges of adulthood. I am deeply motivated to understand adult development and to support adults through their own developmental journey. I offer clients a point of view, and at the same time, support clients to reconnect with their own truth and the wisdom gained through their own lived experiences. 

I have worked with adults who are faced with the challenges of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger, grief, trauma, and relationship issues. My approach to therapy is client-centered, present, and relational. I aspire towards collaboration in therapy, where both client and therapist contribute to and shape the therapy experience. 

I am interested in, and able to support, those who are interested in exploring how identity, social location, and social systems impact personal experience.
