Tracy Stuart - LPC

The core philosophy that drives Tracy’s work with clients is her belief in their ability to find solutions within themselves. Therapy can be the needed key to unlock those solutions and Tracy provides a safe place for people to address and heal what is causing them distress. Kindness, honesty, and a deep desire to see people transformed from pain and suffering drives her work. She specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and women’s issues. Since life can be complex and change in a moment’s notice, Tracy helps clients to develop a mental health toolbox that contains many effective forms of coping skills that can be implemented in a variety of situations. She, too, has a toolbox of skills to aide in her work with clients that include EMDR, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Therapy, and Rational Emotive Therapy (RET).

Tracy has over 20 years of experience as a therapist. Her skill in helping clients to heal depression, anxiety, and trauma stems from a variety of career experiences which include working with at-risk youth and their families in home, school, and community settings, working in Universities and Colleges with veterans, licensing foster homes and providing case management and counseling for foster children. During the past decade, these experiences and much training have culminated in passion for helping people heal from life traumas. Tracy fully believes in the importance of engaging clients in self-care and of being kind and gentle with ourselves.
