Amanda Bushek - LPC

Hi, I’m Amanda Bushek, and I am accepting new clients! For almost 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, or working on strengthening your relationship, I’m here to help.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative and empowering experience. My clients describe me as warm, solution-focused, and tailored to their unique needs. Together, we’ll uncover your best hopes and create a path toward the positive changes you’re looking for.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Colorado State University and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. I’ve worked in private practice since 2009 and held leadership roles in community mental health since 2010. I’ve also served on the North American Solution Focused Brief Therapy Board of Directors, including as President, from 2020 to 2022.

Beyond the office, I’m a proud Colorado native who loves soaking up the outdoors here in Steamboat Springs. I love spending time with family and friends, and I have a passion for cooking.
