Parenting is one of life’s most meaningful yet demanding roles, and it’s common to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or burned out at times. Whether you’re navigating the early years, adolescence, or co-parenting after a separation, parenting challenges can take a toll on your emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of confidence. Common concerns include managing behavioral issues, setting healthy boundaries, improving communication, handling tantrums or defiance, and staying connected with your child through life transitions or difficult stages.
Therapy focused on parenting skills offers a supportive space to build strategies tailored to your family’s needs. Westside therapists use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills training, and attachment-based models to help you develop effective tools for discipline, emotional regulation, and connection. Sessions may focus on enhancing communication, fostering mutual respect, and reducing stress so you can feel more grounded and empowered in your role as a parent. Appointments are available in person across the Greater Denver Area, including Littleton, Westminster, Arvada, Broomfield, and Golden, or through secure online therapy statewide. All of our therapists are in-network with Kaiser Permanente, and many are also credentialed with other insurance plans. You can browse available therapists by specialty, insurance, location, and age to find the right fit for your needs. You can also call us at (303) 986-4197 or email info@westsidebehavioral.com for personal assistance scheduling your first session.
