EMDR Certified

EMDR-Certified Therapists in the Greater Denver Area and Across Colorado – Accepting New Clients

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful, evidence-based treatment designed to help people process and heal from trauma, distressing memories, or deeply rooted emotional challenges. Individuals who have experienced events such as abuse, accidents, loss, combat, or other traumatic incidents often carry lingering emotional pain that affects their daily life. EMDR can also support people dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, or low self-esteem that stems from past experiences.

EMDR-certified therapists at Westside Behavioral Care use structured protocols to help clients reprocess traumatic or disturbing memories in a safe and guided environment. During sessions, clients may focus on specific memories while using bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, to support the brain’s natural healing process. EMDR doesn’t require clients to talk in detail about the trauma, making it especially helpful for those who feel overwhelmed by traditional talk therapy. Many clients experience meaningful emotional relief and long-term change through EMDR.
