HIPAA Certificate (applies to all teammates)

Because of our work in the healthcare industry, we fall under the federal regulations for HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). If you have a HIPAA training certificate less than two years old, please share it with info@westsidebehavioral.com.

Intelligent Office – If your HIPAA certificate is expiring soon or you need to obtain one, please contact Theresa Petrovich at tpetrovich@intelligentoffice.com to make arrangements for your HIPAA training.

Westside Team – If your HIPAA certificate is expiring soon or you need to obtain one, Westside has purchased licenses to the “HIPAA Awareness Training for Mental Health” for anyone on the team who prefers Westside to cover the cost of the training. Please contact Alejandro Silva at alejandro@westisdebehavioral.com to receive instructions to claim a license.

External Support Teammates – If your HIPAA certificate is expiring soon or you need to obtain one, Westside may be able to purchase a license to the “HIPAA Awareness Training for Mental Health” on your behalf. Please contact Alejandro Silva at alejandro@westisdebehavioral.com to discuss your situation.

Udemy Diversity Certificate (applies to Westside teammates)

Some of Westside’s insurance contracts require additional diversity training. Westside has purchased licenses to Udemy’s diversity and inclusion training for anyone on the team who prefers Westside to cover the cost of the training. Please contact Alejandro Silva at alejandro@westisdebehavioral.com to receive instructions to claim a license.

AntiBias Training (applies to all teammates)

DORA’s Division of Insurance (DOI) has published Network Adequacy Standards which require insurers (including Kaiser Permanente) to ensure providers and support teammates complete anti-bias training and a demographic survey.

“The purpose of this regulation is to provide carriers offering the Colorado Option standardized bronze, silver, and gold health benefit plans with the requirements to offer a culturally responsive network of providers and the action plan elements if the network does not meet these standards as required by 10-16-1304(2), C.R.S.”
