It takes courage to start therapy and taking that first step can be the hardest. My goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to begin the process. In my practice, I view you as the expert of your own life, but act as a guide to help you reflect on where you want to go and how you can get there. 

Here is a little about me that might be on your mind: 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with 20+ years of experience helping individuals ages 18 and up. I have my Masters of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in the St. Louis metro area, and have been licensed and living in Colorado since 2004. 

Many of my clients are early to mid-career professionals and young adults who come to me with struggles adjusting to transitions in their lives, navigating work struggles, or problems with relationships. I also treat depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma-related symptoms. 

In our sessions, I will focus on holding safe space for you to explore your own thoughts and feelings while together we work to find your path forward. I individualize my counseling approach to meet your specific needs but am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, and person-centered therapy.
